Today i went to Skyhotel ( don't be deceived by the decent name )----->Sky hotel . It's actually a kopitiam LOL. Well, it's famous of its char siew, but halal person like me don't eat pork, so the only option I got is chicken rice.to my disappointment, there is only white chicken rice. I got no choice but to order it.
Alright so it all goes well, till a surprising thing that shocked me. As usual, i don't order drink normally at kopitiam, thn when d auntie is collecting money for my friends' drinks, she said U no order drink, 40sen . I was like ?? did i just listen wrongly ?? i was so shocked that there is such thing happening here. I've never been to any kopitiam or the so called "cafe" at Petaling Jaya that has this trend. So i ordered one "leng teh" (normal tea with condensed milk) for RM1.60 (normally others sell at RM1.40) look at this bloody money sucker kopitiam. But still i cannot find the reason of charging people for nothing, if a table of people not ordering any drink, thn it's reasonable to charge, but out of 6 people , there is only one didn't order, then i can't think of any reason.I guess 40sen is for enjoying your fan, sitting on your "comfy" stool and filled up your this tiny space in your Skyhotel.

Then, the funnier thing was, our chicken rices were served with no soup . One friend asked for soup. The hawker then said, ohh soup need extra charge . I was like watttt ?? again ?? wah not only the kopitiam is money sucker, the hawker is also a money sucker.

Another funny thing was, after we were done. We approached to pay for our food. D hawker seemed like don't believe what we say, still wanna peek at our empty plates to see what we had ordered. LOL one chicken rice with no chicken rice taste, plain white rice with some sweet soysauce for RM5. D famous white near campus only sell for RM4. Guess what, soup for RM1.50 . LOL
I can't find any word to describe those hawkers. Penang food is getting more expensive than last time. The price is almost the same as PJ price already but the portion is like never bigger. Normally for big eater, they have to order two plates. Small eater like me of course one plate is enough, but i really feel is little for the price like this.
Ppl said cz it's travelling place ma, so must charge higher. However i don't feel it's worth for the price for the small portion and not tasty at all. yuccckkk.
if im jobless next time, i shall go open a kopitiam, and charge ppl for no reason.My happiest time will be when the government increase sugar price. I charge it extra 10sen on every drink, I untung more than government's profit.
